“Crack chic” is a style derived from the grunge days, it is not unlike the “derelicte” fashion depicted in Zoolander. The style is defined by black eyes, heroin, crack pipes, bruised and or scabbed legs, ripped stockings, lice, and hickeys. Models (most notably Kate Moss and Jamie King) representing this look are usually portrayed as being extremely skinny and pale.
